The word yoga is derived from the samskrita root ' युजिर् योगे / युज समाधौ सम्पर्चने संयमने ' which means 'to unite with / (सम् आधीयते अस्मिन् मनो जनैः इति) perfect absorption of thought into the one object of meditation, i.e. the supreme spirit, union or connection, restraining'. So, "Karmayoga" means deeply absorbed in whatever we do, usully leading to perfect results. If we are not fully involved, we can't get full success in anything. So, it can also be told with full devotion (bhakti yoga) or with complete or actual knowledge of what we are doing (jnaana yoga). "समत्वं योग उच्यते", ...
